This bizarre looking creature is an extremely rare two-headed timber rattlesnake. The unusual animal was discovered in New Jersey by two researchers who are both called Dave. The 10-inch-long reptile, which has just been born, has two fully formed heads. Astonishingly, the conjoined animal has two independent brains but a single body. It was found by Dave Burkett and Dave Schneider, who are members of the Herpetological Associates of Burlington County. The organization is now caring for the animal, as it would not survive in the wild. 07 Sep 2019 Pictured: Double Dave the two-headed rattlesnake.
